November Fire Circle
Preparing for Winters Embrace
 

Embracing the darker months as a time of nourishment, wisdom, and rest.

As the wheel of the year turns toward winter, our ancestors gathered around the fire to share stories, give thanks for the harvest, and prepare for the quiet months ahead. In old Celtic traditions, this was a time for reflection, release, and deep regeneration. A reminder that rest is sacred, and that darkness too can be healing.
 

We’ll begin with a gentle lantern lit, walk of just under a mile, heading out from Broompark Picnic Area, following an easy flat path through autumn hedgerows still holding the last fruits of the season.

Arriving at Abundant Earth, we gather beneath a majestic oak, open to the sky, and settle around the hearth of the fire.
 

We’ll gather in community to share and reflect, weaving together:

 *Gentle meditation – grounding into stillness
*Drum-guided journey – calling on ancestral wisdom and intuition
*Fireside reflection – stories, sharing, and simple presence beneath the protective oak

A final gathering before winter’s rest, come share warmth, wisdom, and connection around the fire.
